Sarah has always had a passion for writing, and has always had a wild imagination. In ninth grade, Sarah new a boy who was one of the most popular boys in school that got killed in a motorcycle accident. Someone Like You was partially based on that. Sarah likes to start a book with something that has happened to her, or someone she new, and build around that. The beginnings of all Sarah's books are usually from real life, but if the story goes into fiction too fast, she thinks the story won't work.
