After leaving the New Years party Macon and Halley attended, they got into a car accident. Halley was hurt and went to the hospital, but it was nothing major. Macon disappeared, even though he told Halley he wouldn't leave her sight. Halley finally came to her senses and ended things with Macon. The year kept going by and it was time for prom. Scarlett wanted to go, so of course Halley had to. Halley's date was Noah, and Scarlett's date was Cameron. Noah was drunk and eventually was found in the parking lot at the prom, and he had ripped Halley's dress. Halley talked to Elizabeth, Macon's new girlfriend and discovered that Macon still loved her. At the prom, Scarlett went into labor and was rushed to the hospital. Scarlett's mom wasn't there in time for the pregnancy, but Halley and her mother were there to support her. Scarlett had a baby girl and named her Grace Halley Thomas.

Now that Scarlett had her child, she's going to have to sacrifice a lot of things. To be a good mother she's going to have to stay home with Grace on nights her friends go out late. She's going to have to balance school with taking care of Grace, and I doubt Marion, Scarlett's mother, would be willing to help out a lot. Simply because she wanted Scarlett to get an abortion in the first place. Although, Marion will come around and learn to accept Scarlett's decision of keeping Grace for herself.
